  "Impregnation-Type Protective Agent for Graphite Electrode", also known as "Graphite Electrode Antioxidant" (C·CPM - 01) is a multi-component colloidal solution formed by dispersing a variety of micro and nano ceramic powder into its water base.


   The product has superior wettability with NO organic emission of VOC, which is environmentally friendly. The micro-nano ceramic film formed on the microporous surface of carbon materials enjoys excellent to thermal shock and does not affect the conductivity of graphite.


  By dipping the product into the inner surface of micropores in graphite electrode, then through gel and drying process,the micro/nano ceramic film is formed which: 

-improves the resistance to high-temperature oxidationand and strength of graphite electrode. 

-Reduces the graphite electrode consumption and smelting power consumption of steel arc furnace (EAF) and ladle refining furnace (LF) 

-Drives down are the production cost and relaxes the Emission pressure.
